Lot of 25 DGG (17) and Philips (8) Classical Music CD Box sets from the 80s, containing 86 discs altogether. Please check the pictures to see what is contained and please read the entire description to be aware of. All except one are "Made in Germany", many by PDO. Melos Quartet/ Beethoven is "Made in France". All discs with full silver hubs, all without IFPI codes.

The "Prokofiev/ The Fiery Angel" box set is factory sealed, so neither country of manufacture nor whether or not. It's a "full silver"pressing can be determined. The great majority of the discs is in NM condition, a couple have a few light marks, but nothing that would affect playing. Several faces, however, show remains of corrupted polyfoam, a common nuisance in box sets from the 80s.

It's fortunately only a cosmetic problem, since audio is usually not affected. I have playgraded several of these discs. Among those the ones which I found to be the most strongly soiled ones i.

2 & 4 from Vol. 2 of the Schubert String.

Quartets with the Melos Quartet and playback was perfect throughout! Booklets are mostly in EX to NM condition, a bit of shelf wear on some. The booklet for the M utter/ Violin concertos set is missing. Jewelcases have common wear, i. Light scratching and rubbing marks, but mostly nothing serious. Where necessary I have replaced the old for new or better preserved ones, resp.

1 of The Mozart Piano Sonatas with Uchida and of Vol. 1 of the Schubert String Quartets with the Melos Quartets have a broken top edge. Since I have neither red nor white plastic substitutes, I can not replace these parts of the cases, at least not in the original color. Please adress me with any further questions. Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided).

I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting. If in doubt about anything, please contact me, I'm glad to assist you with any possible queries! For the biggest part the following rates are applicable.

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them i. The portions that seem to have signs of usage, if I can't be sure of their actual condition.

If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their very own way of record-cleaning. My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description.
