Radu Lupu: Complete Recordings Limited edition 28-CD box set containg the complete recordings of Radu Lupu, released by Decca in 2015 to mark the the great pianist's 70th birthday. Lupu's work focuses on Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms. The set is complemented by two recordings with Murray Perahia, Schubert Lieder with Barbara Hendricks, Schubert works for four hands with Daniel Baremboim, and violin sonatas by Debussy and Franck with Kyung Wha Chung. His interpretations seem to come from deep within, from a comprehensive understanding of the works he plays, combined with an overwhelming power of emotion.
