Because of the wide age range and media sources of the tracks included in this collection, an inevitable variance in sound is to be expected. Vladimir Sofronitsky hated recordings, referring to them as "my corpses". Nevertheless, his live recordings give a sense of his astonishing musical power. Our primary aim is to provide the classical music lover with fine and intense re-cordings of masterpieces and a listening experience which is at least as good as the recordings when were last issued or better if possible.
